Allen Wood
Allen Wood is currently a Certified Fire Instructor and has trained up to the Technician Level in Hazardous Materials.
He has completed his NREMT-P (Paramedic) certification in the past with additional certifications in ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support), PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support and PHTLS (Pre Hospital Trauma Life Support) and has taught CPR/First Aid classes for over 15 years.
Al worked for the Lawrence Township Fire Department and finished his career there as a Captain in charge of a Ladder Company on the Northeast side of Indy. He also served on the Hazmat Team for Indiana Task Force One.
Al has finished his degree in Public Safety Management and has also had the unique opportunity to attend training with Dave Canterbury from the Television Show "Dual Survivor" and has attended various Survival Medical Courses around the country. He is currently certified as a Wilderness Emergency Medical Technician and is retired from the Indianapolis Fire Department.
