Read more here.  In short, most agencies require a hands on portion.  If you're taking an online only class, you might be have to find some place to do a hands on portion.

Online Blended Learning is a convenient alternative to classroom training, allowing you to train at your own pace.

Online Blended Learning Complete Package consists of:

• Online Blended Learning Course
• Hands-on Practice / Skills Check
• 2-year certification card is issued on the same day of the skills check (Part 2).

Part 1:  Complete the (blended) course online prior to the skills in-person skills check-off. This MUST be done before arriving at the skills check-off. If not done, we cannot admit you to the skills check-off and no refunds or reschedules can be given.

You will receive a PRINTABLE RECOGNITION OF COMPLETION FORM, giving you entry to the Practice / Skills Check. Bring this to your Skills Test. This is NOT your certification.

Part 2:  Attend and successfully complete the Practice / Skills Check session with Indiana Safety and Health, Inc.
